Jang Keun-suk started working as a child model at the age of five after he was discovered by a talent agent. At that time, Jang's parents were selling their house and the agent, who was a prospective buyer, saw Jang. Seeing his potential, the agent advised Jang's parents to allow him to try a career in modeling.

1. You're Beautiful/ He's Beautiful
Go Mi-nyeo (Park Shin-hye) has lived at an orphanage with her twin brother, Go Mi-nam (also played by Park Shin-hye), since childhood, after their father passed away. Years later, her brother becomes a music idol, and Mi-nyeo lives in junior nun dorm to reach her dream of becoming a nun. Her idol twin brother Mi-nam, successfully wins the "A.N Entertainment" vocal auditions for musical band "A.N.JELL," but Mi-nam must leave in order to correct his botched plastic surgery in the United States. Ma Hoon-yi (Mi-nam's manager, played by Kim In-kwon) approaches Mi-nyeo to pose as Mi-nam for a month till he recovers. Mi-nyeo is against it at first, but eventually agrees, as a path to fame would give the twins an opportunity to find their mother. Mi-nyeo, posing as Mi-nam, joins the band A.N.JELL and meets its members: Hwang Tae-kyung (Jang Keun-suk), Jeremy (Lee Hong-gi) and Kang Shin-woo (Jung Yong-hwa).
At first, Tae-kyung does not like Mi-nam and makes her life hard, while Shin-woo and Jeremy are friendly to her. Tae-kyung discovers that Mi-nam is a girl and threatens to reveal it; however, Mi-nam manages to win him over, and he allows her to stay, while fighting his feelings that are beginning to develop. Shin-woo discovers her true identity before anyone does but does not reveal it and develops feelings for her; Jeremy, thinking Mi-nam is a boy, unknowingly starts to fall for her too. She ends up finding love with Tae-kyung. The story follows Mi-nyeo, who has to keep her secret away from the cameras while performing with A.N.JELL, and her journey in discovering her mother's past, which is somehow connected with Tae-kyung.
2. Mary Stayed Out All Night
Mae-ri (Moon Geun-young) is a stubborn young woman with no dating experience. She looks like her late mother, but her hot temper comes straight from her deadbeat father (Park Sang-myun). Her father's business failures always make trouble, but Mae-ri still loves him. Because she can't afford college tuition, she temporarily stops attending college, and without any special skills, starts to work odd jobs. One day, driving friends around as one of those jobs, she accidentally hits musician Kang Mu-gyul (Jang Keun-suk) and over a series of events, they become friends. Mae-ri's father proposes that she marry his rich friend's son Byun Jung-in (Kim Jae-wook) to pay off their debts. She refuses; when her father won't let her, and in fact forges the couple's signatures on a marriage registration, she pretends to have already married Mu-gyul. Instead of accepting that, her father proposes a deal: spend 100 days with both of them and afterwards, she can decide who she wants to marry. And from there, a love triangle forms.
3. Love Rain
It's love at first sight when Seo In-ha (Jang Keun-suk) and Kim Yoon-hee (Im Yoona) meet as shy university students in the seventies. It takes time for the hesitant pair to finally voice their feelings, but circumstances beyond their control send them down different paths. In 2012, In-ha (Jung Jin-young) is now unhappily married to Baek Hye-jung, one of Yoon-hee's former best friends. He has never gotten over his first love, and when he runs into Yoon-hee (Lee Mi-sook) after so many years, the two reconcile and look forward to making up for lost time.[6][7]
In-ha's son Seo Joon (Jang Keun-suk) is a photographer, and he bumps into Yoon-hee's daughter Jung Ha-na (Im Yoona) by chance. Unlike her mother, Ha-na is a cheerful and vivacious girl, and though they initially find each other troublesome, even as they argue, they can't help but be drawn to each other. Gradually their feelings develop, and Joon and Ha-na fall in love.[8][9]
Unaware that their children are dating each other, Seo In-ha(Jang Keun-suk) and Kim Yoon-hee(Im Yoona) announce that they are getting married, which will make Joon and Ha-na step-siblings. As both couples deal with the shock, Joon and Ha-na struggle with sacrificing their love for their parents' long-aborted happiness.
4. Pretty Man
Dokgo Ma-te (Jang Geun-suk) is the prettiest boy in the world, and he knows it. He sets out to use his good looks to achieve power, riches and splendor. Ma-te meets Hong Yoo-ra (Han Chae-young), an ex-heiress who was once the daughter-in-law of a wealthy family. Yoo-ra senses a kindred gold digger in the ambitious Ma-tae and agrees to become his mentor in social climbing. She gives him a mission: Seduce 10 women who've all succeeded in different fields and afterwards, glean their individual, special abilities. But then Kim Bo-tong (IU), an ordinary girl from a poor background, enters Ma-te's life. She has a huge crush on him and is willing to do anything to help him succeed. Despite himself, Ma-te finds Bo-tong adorable, and the rules of the game change.
5. You are my Pet
The film centers around a young and ambitious woman named Ji Eun-Yi (Kim Ha-neul) and her human pet (Jang Keun-suk).
After her fiancé leaves her for his mistress and Ji Eun-Yi is demoted at work, she stumbles across a young injured homeless man in a box outside her condominium. She takes him in and becomes attached to him. As a joke, she says she wants to keep him as a pet, and to her surprise, the young man agrees. She names him Momo, after her beloved dog from her childhood. Ji Eun-Yi provides room and board, and Momo provides unconditional love and loyalty. Momo, whose name is Kang In-Ho, is a dance child prodigy who gradually brings happiness to his master's life.
Despite his growing affection for her, Ji Eun-Yi says there is no romance of any sort in their relationship. However, sexual tension gradually arises as the two spend more time together. But not only does Ji Eun-Yi struggle with her feelings for the young guy, she also needs to keep him a secret from her co-workers, especially her former college classmate and new romantic interest Woo-seong
